The Department of Agro-Industry Technology focuses on learning activities based on “Off farm” or processing technology and management of the agro-complex sector (agriculture, plantation, fishery, forestry and animal husbandry) both on laboratory and industrial scale enriched with technopreurship insights.

In its learning process, the Department is supported by a living laboratory that processes products from former mining land of PT Semen Indonesia, Tbk.

Students are also given insight into industrial trees, where the focus of processing is not only on the main agrocomplex commodities, but also their by-products (waste) so that they become products with high selling value.
